    5.2.5.3.2 Start fuel flow rate<\/h1>\n

    The energy released during the start-up of the burner(s) shall be limited so that the maximum pressure rise from ignition shall not cause any damage to the IThE (see Table 3).<\/p>\n

    The start fuel flow rate shall be controlled by a protective system according to 5.7.2 and 5.7.3.<\/p>\n

    Where the burner is ignited manually (e.g. by means of a lighting torch) and has a burner input rate in excess of 70 kW, it shall be equipped with a means of limiting the start-up gas.<\/p>\n
