5.2.1.15 Isolation of required safety devices
Required safety devices (e.g. pressure switches, relief valves, …) shall not be isolated from the equipment they protect during start-up or operation of the burner. In case isolating valves can not be avoided and are mounted between these required devices and the main lines, these isolating valves shall be locked in the open position during operation of the equipment by adequate means (e.g. manual lock, …).1) Operation with the isolation valves not in the fully open position shall not be possible.
